After a long wait (1 month) and cancellation of class due to short of students, i finally begin my Course 2 on 2nd of May... They are 8 students this time around (supposed to be 10 but 2 of 'em cancelled it d very last minute)...

Nothing much on Lesson 1. Just continuation from the previous Course (1) in Piping Method... (Shell Borders, Rosettes & Reversed Shell). We also learned how to mix Royal Icing which will be our main ingredients through out this Course 2. My Instructor is Renuga (Renu)... A very funny yet informative teacher!!!

My cousin got married yesterday (17th Apr '09)... He used to (and still) be my 'Partner-in-Crime' in term of cat-fight, bullying n all sorts of 'siblings abused'... But now i've to re-think when i wanna do or say something to him as he's a married man. So i've to respect d presents of his wife rite!!! But she's such a cool girl... 'Satu kepala' (get along very well) wt us... She blend in nicely wt our 'loud' families... That's sweet!!!

Apple Green n White Buttercream + Choc Ganache Topping

Tried a new method of assembling 'Choo... Choo... Train' cake (method adapted from Wati's Facebook Album - myrascupcakes.blogspot.com). No specific 3D pan is needed, just a normal square 6" x 6" or 7" x 7" cut into pieces n shapes. Then frost it n fill it up with buttercream using 'Star Fill-In method'...

It's a bit 'senget' though coz i used d soft mixture of buttercream (krimwell, butter n golden syrup - it taste creamy) instead of d normal/standard buttercream mixture (krimwell, meringue powder n icing sugar - which taste sweet n creamy)...

Lynn's (MyHadiah) 1st ICCA's teaching experience... As she had just graduated her WMI (Wilton Methods Instructor) course... Hehehe... Best tak Lynn??? There are 17 students who attended d class... ramai kan??? Lotsa infos been taught during that 2 1/2 hrs class... Brought home 8 'Pwetty-Decorated Cuppies'... and gone within few seconds after i showed 2 my nieces d nxt day... "Hey, auntie tak dpt rasa puuunnnnnn"... ;-p

Besides than getting FOOLED by some person that makes u cursing non-stop, otherwise it's just d same ordinary day in a calendar month of april...
